Always ask for the location of the Drop Zone, Some Skydive Vancouver web sites will book you over the phone or even online but are located in Alabama !!! Please always ask the location of the Drop Zone when you are speaking with someone on the phone.

Also some Skydive companies run from an airport..... please keep in mind this can delay Skydiving operations due to heavy air traffic meaning on some days you will be waiting around on the ground for hours to do your jump even if it is a beautiful sunny day...... not much fun......

The Abbotsford Skydive Centre is not dictated by an Airport Tower, we have our own Drop Zone and Airfield we are fully independent of a control tower and are only dictated by the weather. This means we don't have to wait around for hours on the ground because of heavy air traffic.

Please keep this in mind when you are making a booking..... it can mean the difference between having the best time of your life or sitting around waiting all day for your skydive......... we know what you would rather do ... :)

How much advance is required for registration?
During the summer months, especially weekends it is wise to register further in advance to ensure your time and day.

How do I breath in freefall?
It's easy, just breathe normally through your nose

What if it is raining?
During seasonal weather it is good idea to call ahead to get a weather check prior to leaving your home

How far is Abbotsford Para-Centre from Vancouver, Bellingham, or Seattle?
Abbotsford Skydive Centre is the closest skydiving center to Vancouver.
from Vancouver by public transit = 1 hour
from Vancouver by car = 45 minutes
from Bellingham by car = 35 minutes
from Seattle by car = 2 hours

Can my friends come?
Bring the whole gang. Bring lots of cameras. We have a volley ball net, picnic tables, decks, BBQ, fire pit, and lots of room for everyone. Dogs are not permitted. Children must be supervised.
