Well what a weekend it was.....

Our BC Day long weekend boogie was absolutely brilliant. We had over 120 registered jumpers keeping the Otter and the Porter busy. The weather threatened a couple of times, but overall the sun gods smiled on us.
Management and staff here at the Abbotsford Skydive Centre / Skydive Vancouver would like to thank the event & load organizers, ROGER PONCE, DUSTY SMITH, JARED MILLER, our own, NICK SPIRIDONOV, JESS HARPER, & KY KVISLE for all there fantastic organizing and coaching. We would also like to thank DAVE KAISER and Kapowsin Air Sports for taking everyone to the skies in the TWIN OTTER. The lovely MARY FARWELL kept us all organized and at the aircraft on time.
There were prize give aways from Icarus, Paragear, Aerodyne & Cypres. Thank you for your kind and generous donations.
Many thanks to Transport Canada & NAV Canada for organizing high altitude jumps for the weekend. Congratulations to Ryan Fitzpatrick, or Fitz to his friends, who did his 1000 jump and Angie from Alberta did her 100th. Congratulations also to Derek & Brian for doing there 600th jump and Mitch with his 700th Jump.
Dusty Smith & the guys managed an 8 way head down free fly and Roger and Nick organized some challenging RW loads.
Gabe brought us Halibut and Salmon fresh from his fishing trip. Outstanding! He promises to go fishing next year just before the boogie again. Thanks Gabe.
Brianne, Jenna, Tianna, and Jo worked hard keeping us fed all weekend. As hard as they worked, they could not have done it without the generous efforts of Rick and Beth Payne, who showed us that cooking for a hundred people is just like any other dinner at the Payne house when Brian is home.
None of it would have happened without you. Thanks for coming out and supporting our event so we can do it again next year. We hope everyone enjoyed the 2007 Boogie as much as we did.
We wish you all the very best and look forward to seeing you all again for next years Boogie in August 2008.
Blue Skies
